Pre-Release Wines Bottle and Barrel Sales Terms & Conditions

We sell some of our wines before their sales date, sometimes as early as their fermentation is complete and they are barrelled. Once we have a clear understanding of the wines potential and decide on the target bottling and if applicable blending profile, we might offer the wine at a discount rate where we guarantee:

Price you pay is the only price you pay.

We commit to the advertised bottle release price. If for any reason, the wine is released at a lower bottle price, we refund the proportional difference at the release date (for example, if you buy a a bottle $100 bottle of wine at a prerelease price of $70, ie. at a 30% discount and the wine later released for $90 per bottle, your new price would be $90 * 70% = $63 per bottle. We will promptly refund the $7 difference to you). But if the wine is released at a higher bottle price, you do not pay anything more than what you already paid (for example, if you buy a $100 bottle of wine at a prerelease price of $70 per bottle , ie. at a 30% discount and the wine later released for $120 per bottle, you do not owe anything more, we will ship your wine at the release date). This refund calculation will not be applicable for entire barrel of wine purchases, since the wine will be not be part of a release.

We will always reach-out and confirm your shipping details and if applicable refund method with you at the release date.

If you bought an entire barrel (228 litre for whites or 225 litres for reds or 25 cases of any one wine), you will be offered an option to join to the wine making decisions for that barrel. We would deliver the wine in bottles, at the extra cost of bottling and labeling as per your request or contents of the barrel in your supplied container. we will assist you with this decision, but at the end it will be entirely your decision. We could also jointly work to create a unique wine for you. Once you make the purchase, we will send you the details of how this will work

The wines purchased in bottle format in this manner, ie. pre-release sale, will be treated as normal wine sale and will be subject to same terms and conditions and return policy displayed on this site. If you buy an entire barrel and decide to make winemaking decisions, that sale will be final and non-refundable. In all cases, your purchase will be insured for fire, damage and catastrophic losses for the full amount you paid.
